Origami

I learnt how to make origami birds for a kids church (Sunday school) activity and then got on a roll and made this mobile for our newly sparce loungeroom (as Miriam and Paul are moving to Canberra). I am quite happy with the colours. They fit in with the room and I think the brown and grey and yellow really add something. Not totally sure what the boys think... ah well.

I found these in my filing cabinet. They are rough sketches I have made over the years but can't bear to throw away. Have found a good home for them: [not so] precious, a fundraising exhibition.

Vivid green

Green things in my garden. So many lovely suprises when you look for them. So many tasty things to eat and pretty things to pick. Last year the starfruit tree had fruit for the first time. About 3 I think. This year it is laden with beautiful stars! I garner such great joy from helping and watching things grow.
