I've been busy with work lately and ignoring my garden, so I was pleasantly suprised by this bounty when I finally did give it some much needed attention. Thankfully we have had lots of rain to keep things growing - in fact so much that I think the lawn has drowned in parts.

Meet Joshua.

He was slumped on the couch talking to Jacob. The afternoon sunlight made his hairy beard look particularly ethereal. I'm pretty sure I didn't accidentally stretch his head in that first picture though it looks like I did... THANKYOU to my darling sister and best girlfriend Kirsty for be a patient teacher. After futsal on Monday nights she has been sharing her Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills with me and I'm SLOWLY learning. Computers don't seem to be my natural language.

A lovely frog who lived in the toilet of our holiday house

The photo is a bit grainy as I took it with a high ISO so that I didn't need to use the flash and frighten the frog. I don't like flash usually anyhow and think the graininess adds character. Look at him contemplating his jump...

Andrew and Christina

Thankyou Andrew and Christina for being gracious and patient with me. I had so much trouble choosing only a few pictures to post. It was a thoroughly exciting and wonderfully exhausting day.

---Updating in progress---
Apologies if my blog is a bit of a mess during the updating process. I am currently trying to speed learn HTML and make all of the pictures bigger and more beautiful. Hopefully by Friday it is looking spifftastic and new! Thankyou very much to Doug Wilson for your help. Doug does websites and animation as well of lots of other wonderful technical things I will probably never understand.
